Keep It Movin’ Fitness is a fitness community driven by results. The community is an embodiment of the motto tattooed on lead trainer Dante Puchala’s chest: Keep It Movin’
These words represent the ability to move past struggles and hardships so you can move forward towards your goals. Each member of the community comes to workouts and events determined to work hard and give it their all. Everyone can train like an athlete, but mindset and perseverance win the race.

Dante’s Story
When Dante Puchala was young, having a career in fitness and owning his own studio seemed like a dream. Growing up his family struggled financially, emotionally, and physically. At times it was so tough they were barely able to get by.
His mother would say “don’t worry baby we just gonna keep it movin”.
From early in life, Dante realized that there would be hard times and struggles but you have to keep the forward momentum. Dante faced more challenges in college when his education was abruptly interrupted. He would look in the mirror and see the motto he learned from his mother tattooed on his chest “Keep It Movin”.
While attending Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Dante got the tattoo to remind him that no matter what happens “we’re gonna get through this too.”
As Dante continued his journey, he created an email with the motto Keep It Movin’ and an instagram account as he dreamed of being a personal trainer. He wanted to create a fitness platform that was done “his way”.
It took several years working in the health field, internships, and experience as a personal trainer in several gyms to figure out what his “thing” was. Over the last 6 years Dante worked hard at making his dream a reality by taking the steps to build his knowledge, body, and ability to train like no one else. Dante figured out his “thing” is helping people (anyone) train like an athlete and keep their forward momentum towards their goals.
Dante’s inspiring story shows that dreams do come true and now with his own fitness studio he’s ready to promote the health and wellness of Montgomery County, MD residents.
Dante is a MoCo native, growing up in the Germantown, Gaithersburg area and eventually graduating with a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Maryland- Eastern Shore. He even made it to the Dean’s List!
By opening the Keep It Movin’ Fitness studio in the Kentlands, Dante is making fitness accessible and affordable for MoCo residents. Bringing fitness to busy professionals and families in the Gaithersburg and Germantown area is a top priority because everyone deserves access to a healthy lifestyle.
The goal is to help you keep pushing through body-altering workout and show up for yourself. Life can be tough, but there are always people worse off than you. Keep It Movin’ Fitness is here to inspire you to keep showing up even when things get difficult.
